- Samuel P. Bush (1863-1948), a close advisor to President Hoover, was president of the Ohio Association of Manufacturers and a major Columbus industrialist. General Manager of Buckeye Steel Castings Company, which manufactured railway parts. The company was run by Frank Rockefeller, the brother of oil magnate John D. Rockefeller, and among its clients were the railroads controlled by E. H. Harriman

- Dorothy Walker Bush (1901-1992), the wife of Prescott, was the daughter of George Herbert Walker of the well-connected Walker family of bankers and businessmen
- Prescott Bush, Jr. (b. 1922), Prescott Bush's eldest son, served as chairman of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce.
- George H.W. Bush Skull and Bones (b. 1924), Prescott Bush Sr.'s second son, was the 41st US President, the 43rd Vice President, a Congressman from Houston, and CIA director, as well as other political and diplomatic posts. Before his political career he was in the oil business in Texas.

Neil Bush (b. 1955), third son of George H. W. Bush and brother of President George W. Bush, is a businessman.
Neil Bush was on the board of directors of Silverado Savings and Loan during the 1980's larger savings and loan crisis. As his father was Vice President of the United States, Neil's role in Silverado's failure was a focal point of publicity. Salon magazine says Silverado cost taxpayers about $1 billion.

Marvin Bush (b. 1956), a venture capitalist, fourth son of George H. W. Bush, and brother of President George W. Bush. He was a director of the Sterling, Virginia company Securacom, also known as Stratesec, from 1993 until fiscal year 2000. The Securacom/Stratesec company was publicly traded and backed by an investment firm, the Kuwait-American Corporation. In 1996 Marvin Bush had 53,000 shares in the company's stock he bought at 52 cents a share. In 1997 the stock sold for $8.50 a share. Marvin Bush was no longer listed as a shareholder by the end of 2000. The chairman of the board of Stratesec is Wirt Walker, a cousin of Marvin and George W. Bush. Stratasec had contracts to provide security for United Airlines, Dulles International Airport (the airport from which American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon, took off), and the World Trade Center in New York at the time of the September 11, 2001 attacks
